Meet April
Realtor. Community Leader. Texas Living Enthusiast.
MY STORY
I've always been passionate about helping people navigate what's next.
I'm a Texas native, Realtor, community leader, and advocate for the people and places that make Central Texas feel like home. As a Realtor based in North Austin, I help clients approach some of life's biggest transitions with clarity, confidence, and a strategy built around what matters most to them.
Buying or selling a home is rarely just about the house. It can mean a new job, a growing family, a relocation, a fresh start, or the beginning of an entirely new chapter. I believe you deserve someone in your corner who listens, communicates honestly, and helps you make informed decisions along the way.
My background in business, finance, negotiation, new construction, and home presentation gives me a well-rounded perspective on real estate. I hold an MBA along with advanced professional designations, including GRI, RENE, MRP, C2EX, and Certified Staging Design Professional.
But real estate is only part of my story.
Community and connection have always been important to me. I love discovering local businesses, getting involved in organizations that make a difference, and sharing the restaurants, coffee shops, neighborhoods, and experiences that make Texas such a special place to call home.
This website brings those parts of my life together: real estate, Texas living, leadership, community, and the everyday experiences that make a place feel like home.
I'm glad you're here.
Home is more than where you live. It’s the people, places, and connections that make you feel like you belong.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
FROM FIRST HOME TO FINDING MY PURPOSE
My interest in real estate started long before I became a Realtor.
I bought my first home at 24, excited to have a place of my own and determined to figure out the process along the way. Looking back, there was so much I didn't know, from understanding the financial side of homeownership to recognizing how valuable the right professional guidance can be. That experience stayed with me and gave me an appreciation for what it feels like to make such a big decision without having all the answers.
Not long after, I worked for a custom home builder and got a behind-the-scenes look at the housing industry. I learned more about how homes are built, how decisions are made throughout the process, and how much goes into a home before the keys ever change hands.
My career eventually took me in a different direction. I built a background in business and finance, earned my MBA, stepped into leadership roles, and became increasingly involved in my community. Each experience strengthened skills I now bring to real estate: analyzing the details, negotiating, solving problems, communicating clearly, and helping people make confident decisions.
Eventually, real estate became the place where all of those experiences came together.
Today, I get to combine my business background, love of homes, and commitment to serving others in a career that feels like a natural extension of who I've always been. For me, becoming a Realtor wasn't about starting over. It was about bringing everything I'd learned along the way into a purpose that had been taking shape for years.
WHAT SETS ME APART
STRATEGY, SERVICE, AND A PERSONAL APPROACH
No two moves are exactly alike, and I don't believe in treating them that way.
I take the time to understand what you're trying to accomplish, what matters most to you, and what concerns you have before we ever start talking strategy. From there, I help you see the bigger picture, weigh your options, and make decisions that support both your immediate needs and your long-term goals.
I'm naturally detail-oriented and strategic. I ask questions, anticipate potential challenges, and believe you should understand what's happening throughout the process, not simply be told what to do. My role is to give you the information, perspective, and honest guidance you need to make decisions you feel good about.
Just as important is how you're treated along the way. I value clear communication, thoughtful preparation, and follow-through. You'll always know where things stand, what comes next, and that you have someone advocating for your best interests.
At the end of the day, great real estate service isn't about making the decision for you. It's about making sure you feel prepared and confident enough to make the right decision for yourself.
ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
YOU SHOULD
PROBABLY KNOW
RELATIONSHIPS MATTER TO ME.
I value genuine connections and believe the best relationships are built over time. I want the people I work with to know they can count on me for honest advice, thoughtful communication, and a familiar face long after we've worked together.
01
I'M BIG ON THE DETAILS.
I like to understand the why behind a decision, ask the right questions, and make sure nothing important gets overlooked. Whether we're talking real estate, business, or everyday life, I'm usually thinking a few steps ahead.
02
I LOVE WHERE I LIVE.
I'm a Texas native who genuinely enjoys exploring the communities around me. Give me a good coffee shop, a locally owned restaurant, a community event, or somewhere new to discover, and I'm probably interested. Sharing those finds with other people is one of my favorite parts of what I do.
03
Let’s work together to make your next chapter a reality.
LET'S CONNECT
WHERE YOU'LL FIND ME
I'm deeply rooted in my community and proud to serve as President-Elect of the Women's Council of Realtors Austin, a Sustainer Advisor with the Junior League of Austin, an advisory board member for Ladders for Leaders, now part of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, and a supporter of the Center for Child Protection through the Friends of Christopher Guild.
When I'm not helping clients, you'll usually find me exploring a local coffee shop, trying a new restaurant, two-stepping with friends, cheering on my girls, or spending time with my two dogs, Blake and Dolly. I love discovering the people, places, and small businesses that make Central Texas feel like home.
WHY I CREATED THE SPACE
WHERE HOME, COMMUNITY, AND TEXAS LIVING COME TOGETHER
I created this website to be more than a place to talk about real estate. I wanted a space that reflects the way I experience Central Texas and helps you discover more of what makes living here special.
Here, you'll find practical real estate insights alongside neighborhood guides, local businesses, favorite restaurants and coffee shops, things to do, and the people and organizations making an impact in our communities.
Because finding the right place to live is only part of feeling at home. It's also knowing where to grab coffee on a Saturday morning, discovering a restaurant you'll want to visit again, finding things to do around town, and becoming part of the community around you.
So whether you're planning a move, settling into a new neighborhood, or simply looking for something new to experience in Central Texas, I hope you'll find something here that helps you enjoy where you live a little more.
