My Favorite Places to Buy Home Décor Around Austin

As a Realtor and someone who loves home design, I'm constantly looking at spaces differently than most people.

I notice lighting.

Furniture placement.

Paint colors.

The little details that make a house feel like a home.

The good news is you don't need a massive budget to create a space you love. Some of my favorite home décor finds have come from local shops, small boutiques, and a few unexpected places around Central Texas.

If you're decorating a new home, refreshing a room, or simply looking for inspiration, here are a few places I love to browse.

Four Hands Home

If you're looking for elevated, designer-inspired furniture and décor, Four Hands is always worth a visit.

Even when I'm not actively shopping, I love walking through their showroom for inspiration. The styling is beautiful, and you'll leave with plenty of ideas for your own home.

Vintage Fresh Design Co.

Located in Round Rock, this shop is one of my favorite places to find unique pieces with character.

You'll find a mix of furniture, décor, gifts, and vintage-inspired items that help create a home that feels personal rather than cookie-cutter.

Cedar Park Home & Design Shops

One thing I appreciate about living in North Austin is that you don't always have to drive downtown to find beautiful home décor.

There are several locally owned shops throughout Cedar Park and Round Rock that offer seasonal décor, gifts, furniture, and unique accents for every style.

Uncommon Objects

If you love vintage finds, this place is an experience all by itself.

You never know what you'll discover, which is part of the fun. It's perfect for anyone looking to add personality and conversation pieces to their home.

The Antique Gallery of Round Rock

Sometimes the best home décor isn't brand new.

I love browsing antique stores because they often have pieces that tell a story. Whether it's artwork, furniture, mirrors, or accessories, you can find items that make a home feel collected rather than decorated.

Local Markets and Pop-Ups

Some of my favorite home décor purchases have come from local makers markets.

Handcrafted candles.

Artwork.

Pottery.

Seasonal décor.

Supporting local artists while finding something unique is always a win.

HomeGoods

Okay, I know this isn't exactly a hidden gem.

But let's be honest.

How many of us have walked into HomeGoods for one thing and left with a cart full of pillows, baskets, candles, and things we didn't know we needed?

It's still one of my favorite places to hunt for affordable home accents.

My Decorating Philosophy

When clients ask about staging or decorating, I usually tell them the same thing.

Your home doesn't have to look like a magazine.

It should feel like you.

The best spaces are the ones that reflect the people who live there.

Mix old with new.

Add pieces that make you smile.

Choose items that tell your story.

That's what makes a house feel warm and welcoming.

My Take

One of the things I love most about home design is that it's never really finished.

There's always a new corner to style, a room to refresh, or a project to dream about.

Fortunately, Central Texas has plenty of places to help you do exactly that.
